Medical expertise et clinical research

UVASC LAB, founded in 2020 by Dr. Wit Haertlé, is a company specialising in biomedical technologies, dedicated to innovation in the vascular field.

We develop digital tools, such as an application combinning augmented reality, 3D and artificial intelligence to improve medical monitoring, particularly of lymphoedema.

Bases in Pont L'Abbé, UVASC LAB works with research centrer and healthcare professionals to make healthcare more accessible and effective.

Committed to research and training, it aims for excellence with certified and secure medical devices.

We want to create links through empathy and transparencye. We believe in enhancing knowledge and passing it on. Our motto is to heal with code, by coding with care.

We propose as a first development a professional tool intended to save precious time and simplify the practice in the daily practice of physiotherapists, doctors, nurses and pharmacists.

UVASC LAB combines expertise in vascular medeicine, biomedical engineering and signal processing to design innovative digital tools.

Our skills include the development of 3D, artificial intelligence and augmented reality applications, medical data analysis and clinical research.

The company excels at creating practical, secure solutions that comply with medical standarts, while collaborating with researchers and manufactures to meet the specific needs of the biomedical sector.

UVASC LAB will improve this tool to help practitioners in their diagnoses and prescriptions. Procedures are underway to obtain the CE marking for Medical Software (s).

The Dr Haertlé is member of the l’ENSTA in Brest and the GETBO at the CHU de Brest.

We participate in the training of engineering students and medical interns by offering them « proof of concept » internship subjects or pilot studies as part of their thesis with a weekly follow-up with our expertise.

These missions are carried out while respecting the confidentiality of the projects.

Our services: Clinical research and quality management

I. Clinical research

Our company provides comprehensive services in regulatory affairs and clinical research, including:

advice on clinical studies,
preparation of submission files,
project management (project manager, CRA monitor).

We also support our clients in :

setting up and coordinating research sites,
data monitoring,
site closure.

We also provide regulatory training and assist with financial planning and responding to calls for projects, ensuring a full range of support to ensure compliance and success in clinical research.

II. Clinical investigation

We provide comprehensive support for institutionally sponsored and CRO-led studies (Clinical Research Organisation), including participation as an investigator physician and direct support to investigative sites (TEC).

Our activities cover:

patient screening and inclusion,
appointment scheduling and patient follow-up,
as well as data entry into e-CRF systems.

We also ensure presence during monitoring visits to ensure data quality. Our areas of expertise include vascular medicine and wound care.

III. Healthcare business development

Medtech Workshop: Biotech, training and workshops for professionals in the vascular field (healthcare providers, sales representatives) and industrials.

IV. Quality management system and CE labeling

We provide training of awareness for engineers, master's students, and future managers on quality in the biomedical field (MDR 2017/745, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).

The training focuses on the importance of quality in businesses and the workplace, as well as the demonstration of the reliability of tools provided to clients and users.

V. Medical writing

We offer medical writing services, including the drafting and review of study protocols (rationale, medical expertise), as well as the dissemination of results through publication, posters, and abstracts

Our team ensures that the protocol is scientifically sound and aligned with the latest medical knowledge, while also helping to maximize the impact of study outcomes through strategic publication and conference presentations.
